Great Temple Snakes individually are not very dangerous at all. Their attacks don't deal much damage, and even their radial burst can be tanked without much trouble.

They are dangerous however, when a bunch of them gather up. Several of them can dish out significant damage that can kill characters lacking the necessary DEF. As such, make sure to kill the eggs before they can hatch into these.

Against these snakes in particular, back away while shooting them. They move very predictably so killing them shouldn't be difficult.
