The **Rock Dragon** is an [event boss](/wiki/quest-monsters#event) that spawns once realm. Aside from status increase potions, it does not drop any unique untiered items nor a dungeon portal. The enemy was originally planned to drop a portal to the Lair of Draconis, an endgame dungeon. However, the dungeon is incomplete and has not been implemented, yet the Rock Dragon was still added to the game. This decision by the developers was met with controversy by many players due to the poor rewards and the high risk of fighting a Rock Dragon, which is required to close a realm.

Tips and Strategies

If you're an archer or huntress, try to paralyze the dragon and then you can destroy the body with ease (the eye can only shoot straight ahead). Still, you should keep a good distance because the body segment explodes for 150 damage per shot, instantly killing even maxed melee classes. One more tip is if you are a warrior use Juggernaut and for the time your armor has been doubled you will take only about 45 damage from the Rock Dragon. The Lair of Draconis dungeon is not dropped as of build 14.1 but is planned on being dropped in future builds.
