The best classes to farm

There are many great classes to use for sprite worlds depending on your equips, your party members and your pets ability's. If you are soloing with a low leveled pet or an unmaxed character then ranged characters (wand, staff, and bow) are best. Though when competing for damage with a large group shorter ranged characters with higher DPS are preferred.

Advantages of Wand users

Some believe wand users to be the best for this dungeon, although it's easy enough for every class. This is due to their high range (9, but with [St. Abraham's Wand](/wiki/st-abraham-s-wand), 10) which allows them to hit Limon from afar- especially useful in the 'turret' phase, as they can sit outside the killbox and simply hit Limon with no reprisal. With the Priest’s ability, you can absorb lots of hits from Limon and just heal up come out on top. They are not as strong as Sorcerers damage wise, but their survivability is very high, and though the Sorcerer is not able to heal himself, he can spam Limon with his Scepter when he is moving around and hard to hit, dealing extra damage when you otherwise would be unable to deal much.

Melee classes

Knight: Getting to Limon is no trouble due to their immense defense, and assuming you can pull around about 35 defense, you can destroy Limon's shots, AND stunning at close range can deal over 1000 damage AND give you 3 seconds where you don't have to strafe. Although he lacks the boosts of the other sword wielders, his DPS is high, allowing him to take out Limon quickly and with maxed attack and speed and about 30 dexterity, you can pull Sprite Worlds in about 3 minutes. Warrior & Paladin: Similar to the knight, with higher DPS due to buffs. This makes it easier, provided you do not require the stuns of the shield to survive. Ninja: Using their katanas they will cut through wads of sprites and sprite trees very easily, and you can use your shuriken on the Native Sprite Gods or Limon. They are hindered by their low defense, which if you do not have much success in finding def pots can leave you having to regenerate health. (And if you aren't soloing it, have other other players stealing your rightfully owned dexterity pot.) It is recommended to go attack Limon during the turret phase (standing still only to dodge shots) and during the spawning phase in which he is armored, not invincible.

Stave users

The same as Wand users, however with higher DPS. Wizard: Use your spell to bomb Limon in the spot all spell shots will hit for quick and easy soulbound damage. Necromancer: You can use your skull in the same fashion of a Wizard's spell to get damage in. You can also heal very efficiently during Limon's spawning phase. Mystic: If you choose to rush the dungeon, use your orb to statis the Native Sprite Gods.

Why & How to find a Sprite World

Why

Sprite Worlds are the easiest place to find dexterity potions, some attack potions thanks to the [Native Sprite Gods](/wiki/native-sprite-god) (in which there's a bit more info of them below), and they have a small chance to drop defense potions. There is also a relativly high chance of finding a Cloak of the Planewalker, or a Staff of Extreme Prejudice, two Untiered items which are useful for their feed power or useful in combat or farming in specific cases (if you do get one of these UTs, don't think of sitting on a [Leviathan](/wiki/leviathan) knowing that you may instantly kill it with the staff (which you may not...) or teleporting in front of someone's way while being cloaked so be aware of how you use these UTs because they can and will change the way of how you fight with those classes.). The [Sprite Wand](/wiki/sprite-wand) does hit really nice with the minimum damage of a [Skysplitter Sword](/wiki/skysplitter-sword) but its unnatural shots of the wand and VERY low feed power make this basically a piece of junk.

How

You will always find Sprite Worlds in the godlands. Sprite Worlds are dropped by Sprite Children, and Sprite Children are spawned by Sprite Gods. So all you have to do is kill a Sprite God, and usually 1 out of the 5 Sprite Children it spawned will drop a Sprite World portal. Sprite gods also slowly respawn their Sprite Children, so it may be worth waiting for some to come back. Sprite Gods are the large purple gods which shoot purple shotguns. Difficult to take down, but worth it.

Navigating through the dungeon

Example Layout:

When entering a sprite world, you will get a quest marker showing where Limon is. It's not always easy to find him though; whichever way looks like the quickest is often a dead end. And no, you can not fall off the edge of a sprite world, and neither can your loot. Sprite Worlds are also filled with many moving tiles. The quicker you learn which color means which direction the better off you will be. If you ever need help remember the following acronym: GUBDRRPL, Green UP, Blue DOWN, Red RIGHT, Pink LEFT. You can use the moving tiles to your advantage, so that you get the first hit on each one, just walk on colors that go the direction you are going and you will progress much faster through the dungeon. Fighting an ordinary Sprite God (which spawn in the dungeon) can be very deadly at such close quarters and with the moving tiles, it is highly suggested that you use the colored tiles to zip past them before they even have time to notice you exist. Or...

Farm Big Purple Native Guys... they're good

These [big purple guys](/wiki/native-sprite-god) are literally the same thing as its godland counterpart, only with the moving tiles. But they're worth it, despite being a strange annoyance when you see strange purple shots flying at your face and hit even harder than Limon would. Their drop rate of attack pots are not insane-fast, but at fast rates that can make you go "damn." So farm them... they're a good source of attack if you're trying to max your character's attack. It is possible to farm up to a mana in this dungeon if you're very lucky.

The Boss, Limon the Sprite God

When you enter the boss room and see Limon, he will vibrate a little, and about 2 seconds afterwards he will become vulnerable and start moving around very fast and shoot at you in all directions, dealing 70 (but more around 50 with good defense) per hit. More often then not, you can use the floor tiles to help try and dodge him, as long as you remember which color will speed you up. After a short while Limon will stop in one place and shoot out his turret box. At the start of this phase you can circle around him to hit him and take less hits then standing in one area, but once the turrets start to shoot in an X you will have to stay in a place out of their path, and shoot at Limon, and take some of his shots until the X phase goes away. Once the X phase goes away, keep circling him, as he is simply armored, not invincible, and it is easy for melee classes to hit him. it is a really easy way to dodge him and deal damage. Once his turret boxes fade away, he will still be standing still and he will be spawning light and dark blue sprites to slow you down, while he shoots at you. Just keep circling him until he begins to chase you again. If he isn’t dead yet, you will probably kill him during the next X phase. *Note to classes with DPS boosting abilities (warriors, paladins, etc…), it is best to use your ability during the armored phase, especially for melee classes. This is because melee classes already wield heavy damaging weapons, and doubling the defense of Limon won’t have that much of an effect if you are wielding a t8+ sword. Because the damage per shot won’t be affected that much (as in percent change in damage won’t change much), your ability could be used and you can attack as if you are attacking him while he is perfectly vulnerable! Therefore, you are sacrificing a bit of damage just because Limon is vulnerable, but your ability boost gives you more than enough DPS back, and plus, the ability is in effect for the full duration.

Wand and Staff Classes

You can do this an easier way. As soon as Limon starts his turret box phase, move directly between the two boxes, if you are exactly midway, you can shoot Limon by aiming at your quest marker, but he won't shoot back. If you don't feel like you are hitting him, listen out for damage sounds, or go off-centered. Good luck sprite farming!
