Best Flash Version for Realm

Currently I´m using Flash 24, but ive heard tht some people recommend other Flash Versions,

What Flash are you guys using?

I don’t know, Flash 25 consistently crashes for me, but I don’t know how to go back to 22 or 19…

I heard somewhere that 18 would be the best, so I downloaded that instead of the version 20 that I had been using.

Both work fine, I haven’t really noticed a difference.

Yep, version 18 is where it’s at. It has everything RotMG needs to run and not all the additional stuff that comes with newer versions. Several people here and on /r/rotmg have reported much better FPS and lag after “downgrading” to v18.

The only thing to note is Adobe has stopped supporting 18, including for security patches. However, since Flash Player Projector is a stand-alone player that doesn’t get installed, chances are you’ll only ever use it for RotMG so your exposure to security vulnerabilities should be next to nothing. Just don’t be a dope and use it to run random other flash content.
