Detention

So we pretty much have all been there; getting a slip or note or something to pretty much waste your time for pretty ridiculous reasons.

Aka - Detentions…

But only Plebs can make this funny, and when they get a detention, its thousands of times more funny than some kid just missing out a homework or something.

So, Plebs, what was your most ridiculously stupid reason for getting a detention?

I’ll go 1st -

So this one was actually quite recent.
Me and a few friends decided to become prefects (Responsible people) so we could lounge about in corridors without getting told off, and we were situated at the bottom of a set of stairs…

So us ‘Plebs’ we are, we start messing about by throwing meatballs at the window to make a huge stain (Sorry canteen if your reading this - Your meatballs taste like grease nuggets) or we would mainly take turns on sliding down the banister (The rail on the stairs)

Don’t judge or terrible sense of humor, but this for us was probably the best entertainment we could get in this school.

Now since the teachers pretty much live in the staff room, there wasn’t really any fear of getting caught - practically we could do whatever we wanted as long as we knew the teachers were not in their rooms.

However recently, there were a few ‘kids from younger years’ who were comming down the stairs; no surprise, they took the banister.

As they got to the bottom, I said that I could do way better. So i put on a scalf and hat, 2 of my friends bag’s and with a panini in my hand I slid down screaming “Never gonna give you up”.

Surprisingly a second later, I realised I shouldn’t have “Let her down” as my teacher saw the entire thing - My mates were literally dying, as she simply said.

“That’s ridiculous behavior” after giving me a detention and then walked off.

Lest not to forget, I did prove them younger kids I could do something better than them…

And getting a detention while I was at it…

Only ever had 2 Detentions, thus one and one in a fight - Because the rest, I could just charm my way out of it c:

I have had like 8 detentions, but all of the reasons were legitimate.

I got one for kicking someone too hard during our performance (theater)

I’ve only ever gotten a single detention, and that was for reading. In an ELA class. Yes, it’s as stupid as it sounds.

I’ve done stupider things worth a detention, but never received one. My brother even pulled a fire alarm and got away with it. There were cameras.

I got exactly one hour of detention in my entire life, and it was merely for chatting in class.

I think my two stupidest stories from high school were the two guys who got in trouble for throwing a smoke bomb in class and the guy who killed an oyster by giving it too much Viagra and causing a heart attack.

I should probably mention that detention was never done at my school.

I’m sort of that unexpected type of kid - Like a bit of a ‘Good kid’

But its funny af when you see my face drop when they say I’ve done something wrong (Or so I’ve been told), however, two minutes later they are like “erhhh, ur a good child, don’t do dhat again”

  • Yet I probably do it again, and still don’t get a detention.

So…

I was eating pizza in grade 5, a pen cap from into my pizza, the part that i was just about the bite on. It was dirty and chewed, and i was about to bite on it and choke probably. But then i stopped and threw the pen cap towards where it came from, got a big ass detention…

Oh, our school/grade has a legend of a person. Apparently from one of the grade 9s (im in grade 12), there was this guy who blew up a cookie in the microwave. And this guy was in a higher grade.

A friend in grade 9 told me that.

That person is me…

Oh my god, you just made be explode with laughter in English and people started giving me stares…

I’m a good person. At least in school; pays off to suck ass (pro-tip for life).

well, it got warped alot, all that happened was smoke coming out and rising up to the 2nd/3rd floor…

Funny, the cafertaria ladies just ignore it for a long time.

But i put a baked cookie in for 1min, at 20secs steam starts coming out…

ive seen lots of 15-20 years old doing that
