I like the idea a lot, but, as Xaklor said, Holy Water would kind of ruin it. Other than that, the idea looks pretty balanced and well thought out.

Keep making more ideas!

Maybe it could add one sec of bleeding every second for 8 secs so holy water would only save you for 1 second
