Search function on forums (CMD/CTRL + F)

Uh, not really sure where to put this but just wanted to share a quick thing that I learnt way back in September.

If you press “CTRL + F” (the function normally used to search for a specific word/phrase) within the forum, it will pop up the built-in search bar. This is kinda annoying when you want to look for a word quickly.

And the built-in function doesn’t work very well with text walls because it just brings you to the post AFAIK.

To use the ‘normal’ “CTRL+F” function, click on your address bar and to use the forum search function, click anywhere on the forums.

Very good guide. Shatter would be very happy that someone knows how to make gifs.

the same thing happens for me whereever i use it from (chrome)

but when using on firefox, it doesnt even show up the search
