Personally, I like to bet but as time goes on betting seems to be dying down. Not many people get on and barely any people down in USNW. I am a betting hoster as you may know me but I will soon quit and I wanted to ask you guys what you think of the betters down there. Nowadys betting seems have to turned into a scamming hub and these fame training people just go down their to go scam with their buddies. ( Ex: Cannedsoup+OK…Flu+Spacces). Basically people just come to take advantage of the rwts and retarted people down there, and trust me there are quite alot.

@Shatter does this mean you might consider moving back to USNW? 
Obviously the spam from betting was really annoying so I have tons of people ignored, and the whole thing sounds fishy to me. I tried it once for the lulz with just a few lifes… which turned into around 16 life in total and I lost them all. At least it was Rainbow who got most of them.
It didn’t feel good, but it also wasn’t too much of a loss. I realized after how dangerous it could’ve been if I took this attitude into real life with me.
I shouldn’t go to Vegas.

Personally, I’m not a huge fan just because I think people should go play the game for their wealth, and not sit in nexus relying on a “roll of a dice” so to say. So it’s good you’re thinking about quitting. All in my opinion by the way.

Even if there was a spam-free betting environment, I still wouldn’t gamble for these reasons:
- The expected profit is not larger than zero
- The expected profit of actually playing the game is larger than zero; the fame gain and chance of UTs is an added bonus
- I have enough wealth such that doubling it wouldn’t make a difference to my gameplay or satisfaction
- The idea of letting my wealth fall in the hands of random chance is inconsistent with the principles of self-reliance and self-sufficiency, under which I have built my prosperity, accomplishments, and reputation.

then if u wanna bet, you trade them and give them whatever

Truly agree, this isn’t like CSGO where there’s big sites where you’re sure you won’t get scammed. Also, the whole trading betting process is SO MUCH HASSLE no one’s gonna want to bet anyways.

I am proud to say I have never betted, or gambled, once in Realm. The concept just sounds like a scammer’s haven to me. And people who ‘host’ betting channels are usually annoying pre-teens that constantly harass you into trying to bet. Happened to me once on Teamspeak’s Villoux channel. I told the kid I had no interest in betting & he was like ‘c’mon, you’re super rich!’ I told him to knock it off. Then he kept trying again, so I muted his dumb ass. One of his friends was like ‘yo, why did you ignore him?’ I told him ‘he wouldn’t take no for an answer, so it became necessary to block him’
Moral of the story, betting on Realm is not worth it.
