This item, while useless at first glance, serves the important function of changing Superior’s shot pattern, making it so the Superior’s shots converge at the maximum range rather than the regular true range. This is because it is one of two tradable staves with an odd number of shots (the other being Anatis Staff).

This item used to only be obtainable by crafting during the 2014 Steam Summer Sale or by trading with other players. However, as of Patch X.28.0 (July 2018), it is also one of the possible drops from the Mad God Mayhem bosses.
