Behavior

Chases players with nonstop waves of icy twirls, along with periodic wide waves of Confusing shurikens. If the Adept is alive for long enough, it will flash and throw a yellow bomb that summons an Ice Portal on impact, before resuming its attack.

The Accursed variant behaves more aggressively, but otherwise acts the same. When killed, it will turn into a cursed grave that will resurrect it after a period of time.

Tips and Strategies

Bow Classes:
Paralyze them whenever you have the chance. The Adept will continually give chase until they reach melee range - by which time they are incredibly deadly.

All other classes:
If you are being chased by an Ice Adept, running directly backwards will allow you to dodge all of his attacks - including confuse shurikens, without changing direction. Otherwise be wary of the very fast moving shurikens which can send you straight into a wall of Ice bullets. If the Adept pauses to spawn a portal, it won’t shoot for a few seconds, allowing melee classes to get damage in on it. Be wary, however, as it doesn’t stay passive for long.

Thanks to Deca he cannot instantly kill you with a 5-shot shotgun as it has been fixed.
