Notes
The Shield of Ogmur is a cosmically rare UT drop that inflicts Gold Four Pointed Star Armor Broken, a powerful buff for group DPS. It is one of 2 practical items that Armor Break, with the other being the similarly rare Crystallised Fang’s Venom. It is especially good on high DEF bosses like the Avatar of the Forgotten King. Its shield damage is also very respectable, being in between a T6 and T7 shield.

Since this shield does not stun, you should often carry a tiered shield as a swapout. In most situations, keeping an enemy permanently stunned is more useful than armor breaking them. But if you are in a group with many other knights, it is likely that the boss is already stunned, which lets you armor break freely. Note that many bosses/enemies are completely immune to stun, namely those in Exaltation dungeons.

It should also be noted that this shield provides supreme defensive stats, giving the player the most HP and tied for second most DEF of all shields.

History
The Shield of Ogmur was a rare drop from an Event Chest in the Ocean Trench from 9th September 2016 to the 12th as well as an Event Chest in the Ice Cave from August 24th 2018 to August 27th 2018 (Month of the Mad God 2018).

In Patch X.31.4.0 (Mar 2019), it received new projectiles and corresponding particle colors.

Before Patch X.33.1.0 (May 2020), this item had a Feed Power of 1,000.
