The **Bandit Leader** is a low level [Quest Monster](/wiki/quest-monsters) that is found on the [Shoreline](/wiki/shoreline). The Bandit Leader poses as the spawner for smaller Bandits, but unlike the Scorpion Queen, he is capable of attacking you himself.

He carries a dagger to stab you with, but the damage is equivalent to his minions. He can also throw red area of effect bombs, often being the first time a new player will witness this type of attack. This is indicated by a red particle trail launching out from the Bandit Leader. It explodes upon hitting the ground and will damage any player in the impact radius.

Defeating him is very easy, so long as you stay mobile and refuse to stand still he will never be able to hurt you.
