Behavior

The Golden Sphinx goes through three phases, switching each time it loses 1/3 of its health. **As long as the Sphinx remains in the gas clouds, it cannot be harmed.** #####Phase 1 The Golden Sphinx quickly follows players and tries to circle them. It fires spreads of red shots and streams of smaller yellow shots, all targeted at the nearest player. #####Phase 2 The Sphinx stops firing and moving. Every few seconds, it will lunge at the nearest player, releasing a ring of armor-piercing waves right afterwards. #####Phase 3 The Sphinx combines the prior two behaviors, chasing players while firing its red and yellow shots while occasionally lunging and firing its shockwave ring. Tips and Strategies

Be careful to avoid getting sat on by the Golden Sphinx as its radial shotgun can prove fatal if all of its shots connect. To prevent this, continue to move away from the boss so that when it lunges towards you, you'll already be clear of its target destination. Back to top
