**The Shatters** is an extremely dangerous dungeon, the concept for which was [originally drafted](http://web.archive.org/web/20130511051301/https://forums.wildshadow.com/node/129702) by a player named LordShon in the old Wildshadow forums. The original design was heavily modified by the Kabam team and released into the game in December 2013. The dungeon portal drops from the [Avatar of the Forgotten King](/wiki/avatar-of-the-forgotten-king). Unlike other dungeon portals, the shatters portal stays open for 70 seconds until it vanishes.
