  1. Despite the enjoyment from the game, people, especially teenagers and young adults have the tendency to spend more money in the micro transaction aspect of the game, than is economically acceptable.
  2. The loot system enforces the same psychological effect that loot boxes do, where the human brain will hit players with little doses of dopamine, right before an enemy or chest is killed, or a bag drop sound is heard. This effect is hardened when rarer items are dropped in higher tier bags. While there is nothing inherently wrong with this, people who are susceptible to addiction, whether that be teenagers, or people who are mentally prone to it, the effect can be devastating if one does not exercise maturity and self control.
  3. Some players don’t always enjoy the same game for years on end. As humans, we are constantly in flux, changing and growing with each passing moment. Some people take breaks, and some people never return. It does not lessen their time that they had with an experience, but simply closes that chapter of their life. Are you playing because you still thoroughly enjoy the game, or do you feel obligated to play?
