Ample packs: historical prices and value

Got inspired by the post asking if the recent ample pack was worth. Feel free to let me know if I’ve missed an ample pack that’s happened in the past. This is using info from RealmDiscord Bot and realm updates on Twitter.

*ample packs have same # of character slots and vaults

***these have the same name, but the older one (near bottom of list) was renamed to Vanilla Ample Pack.

Anything before was during Kabam’s era, and I’m pretty sure they only did Ample Space Pack (1700 for 2 slots/vaults) or original Super Ample Pack (2250 for 3 slots/vaults).

The % Discount is calculated based on how much you would save, if you were to buy those character slots / vaults individually (i.e. 1000 gold for a slot, and 500 for a vault). Most worth it would be the Vanilla pack and Beach pack (which was offered during MotMG) both giving a 50% off. However we haven’t seen a Vanilla pack since March of this year so it seems that Deca is tending towards packaging new / cooler sounding ample packs during holidays, but they’re actually shittier.

There was a pack 5k gold for 5 slots 5 vaults 5 ambrosia (and yes I was dumb enough to buy that…)

Got a name for it so I can add it to the list? Also it’s not that bad is it, it’s better than most of the other ample packs since ambrosia is actually useful.

I don’t remember the name but it was released around March or April 2017.

Regarding the Oryxmas Ample Pack, I actually dare say that it’s worth slightly more than you think.
From the Pack, aside from the 4 slots (4000g) and 4 chests (2000g) you also receive 25 ornaments. While these don’t have any gold value directly attached to them, they can be traded in for various skins that do have such a price!
Therefore, the so-called “true” worth of the pack is as follows, with Skin chosen | Normal gold value | % discount:
Santa Skin: 6900 | ~38,4%
Helping Huntress/Scrooge Priest Skin: 8500 | 50%
Note: presuming the HH/SP Skins can be sold like most other Skins for 2500 gold.
This also explains why the pack itself says it’s 50% off.

Edit:

I thought about it a bit, and decided not to include the value of additional items in ample packs, including ambrosia in the cinco de mayo ample pack. It kinda misrepresents the value of the pack, but at the same time I made this list specifically for ample packs and the focus is on character slots / vaults. Some people might not find things like ornaments / ambrosia useful (sam didn’t want the ambrosia above), maybe because they already have the skin or max divine.
