Arcane Quiver

A deadly quiver of destruction that smites and curses those not worthy to live.

Tier: UT

MP Cost: 105

Shots: 2 (aimed and smite)

Range: 18 tiles

Damage (First Shot): 700-750 (average: 725)

Damage (Smite Shot): 400-450 (average: 425)

Total Damage: Minimum: 1100 / Maximum: 1200 / Average: 1150

Smite Range: 5 tiles (radius)

Effect: Curse to target (first shot), Slow to self

Curse Duration: 3 sec (+0.5 sec per 30 remaining MP)

Slow Duration: 3 sec

Cooldown: 6 sec

Stat Bonuses: +4 ATT, +3 DEF

Special Properties: Wavy Shot, Pass Through Obstacles

Fame Bonus: 5%

Feed Power: 900

The first shot does not pierce.

Remaining MP is not used to increase the Curse duration.

Maximum Curse duration is 5 sec

If you manage to hit an enemy with this Quiver, 725 (average) damage will be dealt, plus an automatically 425 (average) damage to a random enemy within 5 tiles of the target. If no enemy is within that range, the second shot will not be executed.

This Quiver is useful for damaging several enemies at once along with the added status effect of Curse (3 seconds) at the cost of Slow to self (3 seconds).

sprite: the pruple and grey… are you trying to blend them together? because if you want them to be seperate, i recommend some higher contrast.

The bullet looks kinda like a weird katana.

isnt that a holy/unholy term? how does this have to do with arcane?

uhh i guess that works? especially with not piercing.

ive read the post three times and i cant find what smite does?

also what is the interval between 2nd and 1st shot?

#3

It definitely does. A katana with two sharp points and no handle. Very weird.

Its doesn’t have to be holy/unholy.

smite is the second shot.

#4

So why not just call it a second shot instead of confusing people into thinking you created a new status effect.

#5

I need this

Because if I say that it’s a second shot, people are gonna think that you shoot two projectiles. However, you only shoot one.
