The old sprite for it was sooooo much better looking then this one this one looks honestly so shit and personally when the old sprite was being used it was like the OG sword looked sick

imo the only part of the set that looks terrible is the ring
all the rest of the sprites are mediocre
The new MG Sword isn’t that bad the brightness is better and you don’t need it to fully be an oryx sword just the handle.
They shouldn’t even change artwork unless it’s broken or something really horrendous (thinking of the first UB rings). The old sword was okay, the current one is okay. They seem to have got over their habit of tinkering with the designs for no good reason now, thankfully.
I can’t believe they changed it. The gold doesn’t match with the blue at all.
One of the better examples that you can’t just slap some gold on something and expect it to look nicer.
