we killed a ship and it dropped loot but the clouds stayed and the ghosts in the middle kept spawning. There was also no Davy’s.

most likely due to another gship being in the realm at the same time, entirely possible as your quest is red demon at that moment

Bugged Ship(s)

Not seen anything like this before. Came across a very odd Ghost Ship last night. It seemed to have double everything: two rings of clouds, two lots of skulls on the beach and twice as many cannonballs, ghostly things. Odd shaped map too, though that could just be one thing spawning where another had. I soloed much of the battle and without a sceptre to deal with them it would have been overwhelming. I’ve only been seeing it for the last four days. They allowed Ghost Ships to spawn multiple times, and bumped quest spawn rates, weeks ago. So I can only guess something changed recently. Maybe Ghost Ship appearance rates were boosted for the event. Otherwise it’s probably one of those bugs that gets slipped into an update, and doesn’t become obvious until enough people are playing on production to stress test it.
