I’ve always followed the precedent set by Doc in the earliest official events topics, placing the link to original source immediately at the top. Looking at other event topics, many other frequent posters do it the same way, so I would suggest if it’s consistency you seek, join us… join ussss….

If you want some rational justification, I find placing the source link at the top is highly useful to immediately make it plain that this post – albeit under my name and showing my pfp – is not my content but merely a copy/paste from elsewhere. Kinda works as a disclaimer in that regard, “The poster hereby distances themselves from the following content…”.
