Chest Event Weekend Reloaded! (Sep 16 to Sep 20)

Dear Players,
We will be hosting a new Chest Event over the next days. Based on our own analysis and your feedback, we have made some improvements for this round:

  • The Chest now appears after you have killed all enemies in a dungeon
  • The Chest has now 180k HP (up from 120k)
  • The Chest is now invulnerable for 15 seconds after spawning
  • There will be a message when the Chest spawns
  • The Chest now grants Fame/Exp when killed

This weekend’s dungeons are:

  • Puppet Master’s Theatre 09/16/2016 to 09/18/2016 12:00 (Noon) CEST OVER
  • “Mystery Dungeon” 09/18/2016 to 09/20/2016 12:00 (Noon) CEST STARTED

Aside from the XP/Fame, no guaranteed loot this time - yes, we know, those cookies were great… so eat them all up already :stuck_out_tongue: Also, like last time, not everybody from the group will always get items, it is all based on random events but there will be multiple rolls for multiple group members with every chest destroyed. That offer though.

10 of us just did 4 in a row and got only 2 speeds between us. So caveat emptor, as the Romans say.

My friends and I have done many puppets if we get a drop its generally a stat pot. Deca is way way to stingy with the loot. For all the work you have to do to clear the dungeon these extremely rare drops suck large. I think this is actually worse than the Davy event even though you get to shoot a chest that may if you are lucky get a crappy vit.

It’s pretty ridiculous fame per time if you have like, 10 people or so just steamroll it. Even better than the fame train in my experience.

Selling keys in bulk while holding an event seems like an effective method of earning money while having the players enjoy the weekend. Also R.I.P. Leviathans.

Has anyone found the “Mystery Dungeon” yet, because I’m thinking it’s Oryx’ Castle for some reason.

It seems to be less than 1.

The event in the “mystery dungeon” doesn’t start until 18th 1200 CEST (UTC+2) so that is just less than 13 hours from now.

Was clearing a puppet with another rogue yesterday.
We broke the chest, I got 0, he got puppet master skin.

So sad man, clearing an entire dungeon to get little to nothing for efforts. :confused:

My friend and I took about 10-15 minutes clearing a puppet on double Dbow.

We found a Troom. He got an atk, I got 0.
We did the boss. He got an atk, I got 0.
We killed the event chest.

We both got 0.

Really? Who cares? One dungeon per realm that gets steam rolled and a chest that gives you nothing.

That’s rather pessimistic view.

At least this event causes the trench to last more than the 30-40 seconds it takes someone to rush to Thessal and the 2 seconds for her to die.

They’ve raised the drop rate of items from the chest (over the Puppet Theatre chest), if my experiences are anything to go by.

And if you don’t like steamroll, this key pack is meaning there are a lot of OT sellers around:

Was just in a Puppet (got Prism off boss, yay). But someone there said that the chest is still active, as did someone in the Discord. So I full cleared it solo. No chest, nothing.

Sorry to say the puppet theatre event chest has ended (yesterday).

The event chest is now in Ocean Trench after clearing.

Yup thanks. I had actually done a bunch of OTs today with my guild (and got a cbow), but for some reason I believed the guy who said it was still running. Oh well.
