Are there any plans for a dark mode background?

i haven’t heard anything like that, but i did hear they will have an option to turn your browser opacity to 10% image
0% if you use your registry

There are browser extensions that do a pretty good job – I have Night Eye for Safari which I just turned on for the main site and it looks OK, if a bit odd in places.

It really needs to be part of the site design to work well, but I don’t know if anyone will get around to it. For the forum it comes free with the forum software.
