"D'oh, this isn't good" error Mac

#1

Hi, I have a school Macbook Air where I can’t access flash in my system preferences to clear the cache. Supposingly this fixes the language load error message. Is there another way to do it. I really want to play rotmg again. Thanks

Add the SWF file to your trusted locations

opps

didn’t see that

I don’t think there is a way around it. Firefox is the next best thing.

try these links

This normally does not help. “trusted locations” are folders containing .SWF files on your local PC, so does nothing unless you are downloading the SWF to play.

The links you give might work. I prefer the direct link, or at least I started using it when it was the only one that fixed the error for me:

https://www.realmofthemadgod.com/AssembleeGameClient1571307322.swf

This changes regularly, when it does the latest version can be found here.

“Trusted locations” works on a Mac or Windows PC. But it works the same way. Normally Flash’s security sandboxing keeps local SWF from accessing web-hosted files, and web-hosted SWF from accessing local fies.

Trusted Locations are special folders where Flash Projector will not generate security errors running anything in that folder. It meant for developers, as it lets them test apps on their local PC that access web-hosted files.

If you download the SWF it could well help, but there is no need to do so for most players.

In my experience it doesn’t. Probably to do with something my school put on my old computer.
