Don't give mod powers to angsty teenagers with authority complexes

You had a pretty good thing going with the MAFIA crowd, was starting to feel a lot like the old WS forums, don’t jinx it.

Giving out mod to the people that are most active is about the worst idea considering those are the ones with the fewest social skills and ability to co-operate, and alot of them are former vicarious backseat mods so they’re acting out their fantasies that they bottled up all that time.

I just had a perfectly valid question removed 3 times by the same socially-inept fame trainers that are more concerned with exercising their power than they are with the forum itself

Inb4 this gets moved to the WC by one of those angsty teenagers

If you’re referring to regulars then no. Regulars are not moderators. They are active members of the forum who receive more power but more responsibility. If they acted like “angsty teens” they wouldn’t receive reg in the first place. The mods would have their rank locked so they couldn’t move up. Reg =/= mod. Regs cannot merge or lock threads or ban players. Not even Shatter and Nevov, two players with the leader rank cannot ban people. Only the moderators who founded the forums have this much power and responsibility.

Legit questions go in whichever category fits them (if you’re asking about the forum, #feedback). If wrong category, a Regular will move it. If you edit the post so it turns into garbage, it will get moved into the #whine-cellar by a Regular.
