Since the game runs on a tick based system, could you commit suicide with the tome in laggy situations? Would not having a cause of death glitch the game? Was Vitmod done on purpose and not just a typo?

Vitmod was done on purpose, and it has been possible to suicide with items before (cheater armors), it is no longer possible to go below 0hp in the nexus since the april fools update. Simply going below 0hp wont kill you, you have to get hit by something for it to cause a death.

Interesting idea, but no one would actually end up using this

250 health for a burst of 3000 damage and crippling status effects is not an ideal trade off when 3000 damage is just a couple of seconds worth of DPS

Even if it were were higher damage, it would simply be too strange to use imo

First thing that came to mind when I saw the title:

I would say “Sinned” would be a better choice instead of “Deafened” but that’s just me.
