when finishing OT there’s a chance of dropping reef

this is actually a great idea considering how hard it is to get a decent group for janus dungs and how easy it is to get one for ot/wlab

I’m not sure how to feel about the prospect of leveling new players stumbling across an endgame dungeon in the midlands.

Well there should be a wall like in ddocks where you need a lot of dmg to open the wall

Then your group would need to have a high enough dps to get through. It’d be a lot more simple to just have the thicket drop from a more difficult dungeon

Or perhaps from an event boss-type of enemy in the realm? I think that if we had more event bosses with decent UT drops and which also dropped high-end dungeons, it would attract more people to the realm instead of leaving keys as the most efficient source of loot. These event bosses could largely replace the tedious Heroes of Oryx which require more running than fighting. (Sprinting across half the map just to kill an Ent Ancient that’s already buffed and just needs a few hits to destroy with no real reward? No thank you!) Alternatively, the current heroes could perhaps be buffed and drop higher-level dungeons themselves (perhaps Shaitan’s or Heroic Abyss from Red Demon or Phoenix, Heroic UDL from Ghost King, Encore from Lich, etc.), which would entice more experienced players to actively participate in realm clearing for a shot at more worthwhile dungeons.

Yeah this, more end-game material set inside each realm - if you’re going to die, you might as well have more chances at dying and getting loot than running halls all day in discord. Players will soon realize after a few attempts that they either can or cannot do these harder dungeons - it also gives them something to strive for.

OT and the Reef should not be considered counterparts just because they share an underwater theme. The Woodland Labyrinth and Secluded Thicket also should not be considered counterparts, as they most likely take place in completely different places – one is a forest maze while another is a jungle.

Remember when heroic dungeons drop from their counterparts?

Not anymore, cause the udls and abbys would severely outclass every single other dungeons in the godlands.

If you wanted this to actually be implemented, EVERY dungeon would have to have its own after thought, just like how they did it with trooms.
