So lately, quite a few new people have been joining the forums, and i’ve seen lots of people shoot down their very first ideas, the same happened to me, and probably to a lot of other people, this lowered my confidence and turned me into a shitposter for a while, i’ve recovered now, but to have the joy of making an item get crushed by someone else is hard to digest. Thus, I would like all experienced people on the forums to not slam an idea from a new player, (unless it’s good) most people don’t know a lot about how item balancing or sprites work, and they probably haven’t read the sticky either, so just give them a cookie, say that the idea is all right, make your criticsm subtle and un-insulting, and leave it at that, they’ll learn how this place works within a few days/weeks/months/years/decades/centuries/millenia/eons/dimensions etc.
TL;DR be nice to the new guys for a couple of posts.
