I can’t find it in any patch notes when the UFO event will end, does anyone know when it will end?

It is not very rare. In my experience it seems to be the same as dwarf, ie it has around a 90% chance to spawn per realm or something stupid. It’s not guaranteed, but it might as well be.

from the information given so far that is. However it has been made extremly rare.

Seems very rare to me. I‘ve seen two since M(+½)OTMG ended, a fraction of the number of Dwarves/Ava/Hermit/Dragon. While they seem likely to appear in any given Realm instance, the UFO event I would guess is about 10% likely. Only a guess, but definitely lower.

Yes - however, the spawned portals no longer drop tokens, meaning you can only get the actual Cores as Drops. From what I can tell, the trade-in quests are still here.
