I can’t explain why the forum doesn’t show the user the reason they’re banned. It appears on the user profile page, though.

Was the 2044 thing a gag with the mods or something? What if they managed to hold out until then, would you ban the person again?
Nah. We have to specify ban durations, and 10,000 days is an easy round number to use for a “permanent” ban.
Sooooooooooooo, what if they lived for those 10’000 days? Would you do something then?
if they come back after that long, props to them.
