The left avatar floats back to the other two avatars, rejoining them. They watch as two combatants fall out of two different trees. The battlefield then goes eerily silent for a moment then, from just underneath them, they watch two combatants cheer and clap together.

“Is that it?” asks the middle avatar.

“Unfortunately, yes.” responds the left avatar. “I could barely tell what was going on as well, they kept hiding in those damn trees!” The left avatar then looks at the right avatar and notices that its right eye is missing. “Uh, where did it go?”

“Yeah, about that. We may have a problem.”

“We’re going to have to see the Overseer about that.”

“Yeah, I know. I was trying to avoid that, but lets go.”

The three begin to float away from the forest until they’re approached by a figure armoured by metal plates, wielding a halberd.

“Greetings, avatars.”

“And who might you be?” asks the middle avatar.

“The name’s Hill, I’ve been watching your many games from a safe distance. I noticed that this very game had your shopkeeper vaporised.”

“Yes, so?” The avatar looks away from Hill.

“Well, I noticed the perfect opportunity to volunteer as the new shopkeeper, of course.” Hill goes to stroke their chin, but the helmet is in the way.

“And how do we know you won’t be as foolish as the other one? What more do you have to offer?”

“I have these contacts, they’re known as mercenaries. I think they’ll do good to keep you entertained in your games. Let me give them some calls and see what contracts I can get.”

“Sounds like fun. Alright, you’ve got yourself a deal, Hill.”

“You won’t regret it, avatar.” Hill bows.

Right as they finish speaking, the rainbow dome begins to crash into the forest.

“Has that thing been falling the entire time?” says the left avatar.

“No! My stuff’s in there!” Hill begins running towards the forest.

As the avatars float into the Overseer’s castle, they are greeted by another avatar at the door. It notices the missing eye on the right avatar and nods and points them to the throne room. The middle avatar nods back at it.

The avatars float into the throne room and find themselves face to face with a pulsating, web of flesh. The Overseer.

“Your companion appears to missing their eye. Why is that?”

“Well, Overseer. A fireworks hit it in the eye, cracking it. Of course, we had to then fix the crack as soon as possible. We let someone else try, who said they could fix it. They ended up getting vaporised and all seemed well, until the eye until fall apart.”

The Overseer whacks the middle avatar across the face with one of its tendrils. “You fool! Those eyes are vessels for your power! Without them, it is not contained!” The right avatar puts its hand up to its missing eye, seemingly frightened. “You are lucky that your mistake only ended up vaporising the mortal and did not lead to someone gaining the powers of an avatar.”

“Yes, Overseer.” The middle avatar lowers its head.

“Now, out of my sight. I have others matters to tend to. Continue on your mission.” Orders the Overseer.

The three avatars float out of the throne room.

10 combatants entered, 11 shrouded rounds proceeded. Only one duo remained afterwards, Orsome and NyanGamer. After having avoided being roasted for the feast, Orsome showed the combatants what’s he made of and secured 3 kills. His partner in crime, NyanGamer, followed him in combat and killed 2 combatants. The only combatant not from the duo who killed a combatant was XBookwyrmX. With a good use of arrows, the two slew their final two solo opponents at the same time and secured their victory.

The only combatant who’s shield was ever broken was NyanGamer, thanks to arrows soaking up shields. Demonseye’s first three actions all failed. Nameness orchestrated his duo’s own demise by using Empathetic Bond on his partner. During Rounds 5 and 6, partners Orsome and NyanGamer attempted to steal the same arrow. There were no seppukus this game.
