That’s a pretty high damage cap on the sceptre at 400. Of course since it’s a range it won’t always do that much, but this thing could outclass T6 with paralyze and slow. Could you turn down the damage a little plox

As is the Orb, and that completely outclasses the sceptre.

Edit by that I mean changed fulmi kind of scepter.

It’s quite good for how easy it is to obtain.
A 5 second slow on it isn’t actually that bad for enemies that are immune to stasis.

This Sceptre rework with 1 target and 2.5 second slow is really not that good.

It’s kind of like a single-target Fulmi for 5 more MP, so could be fun to use.

Exactly, honey orb just gets bullied because it drops from an easy dungeon and it’s not a white bag.

If you can’t get your hands on an Aether, Sweet Demise is the next best thing.

Paralyze is a bit much even at 0.5 seconds for this low level UT. But why slow, that would make fulmi somewhat less desirable.

Paralyze:

  • Half a second, literally useless.

Slow:

  • Half a second less than Fulmi, hardly a difference.
  • 1 Target
  • Higher MP Cost
  • Less Range
  • Harder to hit enemies since the targetting cone is literally half the amount of Fulmi’s.
  • Damage will eventually become inferior to Fulmi’s.

The concept of this is to bring in the idea of “UT’s are different to Tiered items” for newer players, instead of its current state which is weaker than a T2 for one extra target.

The current is a vanity.
I would consider something like this a true UT.

I wouldn’t say it is that useless for paralyze. It can be mass spammed by a group. Also most bosses are stasisable and is only 5 mp more than fulmi, even if it has significantly less damage. It is still powerful in utility.

But what group would really be serious about using this over a fulmi.
It’s easily accessible yes, but drop rates can always be lowered.
At least people would want to use this over its current state.
This is a UT, the current one is a poor excuse.

If you want to get together a group of 5 Sorcerers using this to chain paralyze a boss then fine, your choice, but using an Archer or another class that could accomplish the same goal with a far more MP efficient and powerful ability would be far wiser.

My point is that it’s far less MP efficient.
5 additional MP to slow 4-6 less targets at a closer proximity to an enemy.

Scepter who drops from easy as a forbidden jungle dungeon shoudnt be that interesting.

May as well not be UT then.
And trust me, hive is nowhere near as easy as forbidden jungle.
But please look ar the Orb, 5 second slow and it’s from the aame dungeon so…:man_shrugging:t5:
