How to play RotMG on Mac

It has been a while since I have posted a thread, but here is one just to help my fellow mac users.
I also made this because the actual realmeye help page concerning the use of Flash doesn’t include one for Mac.
Anyway, here you go!

  1. Go to: https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html

  2. Scroll down to the area that says, “Macintosh”

  3. You can see two different lines that say, “Download the Flash Player projector content debugger” and “Download the Flash Player projector”

  4. Personally, for some reason content debugger works faster for me so I use that one, but you can choose the one without the content debugger. It will then automatically download.

  5. Open the .dmg and open flash player. You will see in the top left there is: File. Click that and then Open File.

Only go onto Step 6 if you don’t have the .swf, if you do have it just skip it

  1. Here is where you open your .swf which can be downloaded from here: https://www.realmofthemadgod.com/client (Just click on the link and it will automatically download the .swf for you)

  2. Find your .swf, open it and enjoy! :smiley:

heres some additional step if u get the " do’oh this isnt good " error.

  1. go to system preference
  2. go to flash player
  3. in the screen that popups, go to advanced
  4. click on Trusted Location Settings
  5. click on the + sign that appears on the bottom left corner
  6. add your swf file into it

now enjoy!

the swf file should be in your download folder.
