I wish the game could have kept the pay-to-win levels as they were in the oldest wildshadow days, only cosmetics and storage space.
It’s not impossible for a game to be profitable like that, the one example I know of is Path of Exile.

  • Lose two thirds of your income and rent a comfortably sized apartment.
  • Lose half of your income and rent a cramped apartment.
  • Lose one third of your income and rent a cramped apartment with 4 others.
  • Buy a house together with 2 other family members and each lose half your income for the next 30 years.
  • Live with your parents.
  • Become politically active.

The steel is just a bunch of metal, but with a kilogram of feathers you also have to carry the weight of what you did to those poor birds

I eat steel. It has physical, emotional, and mental weight. I recommend your local construction zone, specifically act 1 since it’s easier to digest compared to the platforms of steel in act 2.
