1000 years ago there was no medicine or modern plumbing or even the scientific method. Iā€™d much rather live in the future. (Although if I could cause hitler not to be born by going into the past I would do that.)

Well Iā€™ve been blind before, so I can so no to that out of firsthand experience, and being mute would just be a lesser version of being deaf, would it not? Cause if youā€™re deaf then you wouldnā€™t be able to hear yourself talk, so you wouldnā€™t know what youā€™re saying, and on top of that you wouldnā€™t be able to hear others.
