In fact the chance is probably even to low for a RNG. However if duping would be fixed the idea of powerful uts dropping at extremly rare chances (like magic mushroom) seems quite good.

Its quite funny to imagine that Ws could have added this just at the game start without mentioning (I know there was no ninja back then but who cares) and nobody would have found out about it because no one has ever gotten it.

This is idiotic, and not just because of the absurdly low drop chance.

That topic is pinned, but people can unpin easily. We can’t make it permanent.

Technically “luck” does exist in the form of the loot/drop booster potions. If this weapon were to activate one of those for only a short duration and with a long cooldown it could technically work. Still, a pie-in-the-sky will-never-happen idea.

Aw, but I guess that is smart in a lot of ways.

On a more on-topic note, something else I thought of that makes this even more ridiculous. Why would you put dex and atk bonuses on this thing? It is clearly intended as a vanity/luck booster type thing. Adding combat benefits seems silly.

Agreed. This thing already is around a T3 Katana. It’s good that it’s undesireable DPS balances the desirable loot/drop boosting effect (don’t call it luck, please). DPS may be too low to realistically quality for loot on it’s own. However, there’s nothing stopping someone from using a high level katana for most of the damage and switching to this only for the last second. Actually, that may be it’s fatal flaw: swapping this at the right moment would grant one all the benefits and none of the downsides.
