Sometimes it happens to me when I right click. I just hold the affected keys and press the start key twice.

@Meaop this is an element of Flash Player, Browser, and OSX/MacOS. Quickly determine the keys that your character is moving in (for example, default controls, if you’re stuck moving forward that’s W key) and press that key again and release. It should quickly terminate the movement.

When this happens to me, i quickly press options and exit, if not, I use the panic button.

Try to play on Adobe Flash Projector instead of on a browser, this seemed to clear up quite a bit of lag for me. Which browser do you use?
