New Class Idea: The Fairy

#1

Some of you guys suggested that I put a lot of effort into one idea instead of focusing on quantity. I posted three sword ideas and a few of you didn’t like them too much, so I decided to put my mind off of swords and figured I could think of some other ideas. My mind was wandering for a while until I came up with a cool (that’s my opinion) idea…The Fairy.

Fairy

The fairy is a long-ranged class that uses her wand to destroy enemies.

Equipment slot and starting gear:
Wand: Fire Wand
Dust: Fairy Dust
Robe: Robe of Neophyte
Ring: None

Speed: 15
Dexterity: 12
Vitality: 12
Wisdom: 15

Gain Per Level
Hit Points: 10 to 20
Magic Points: 5 to 15
Attack: 1 to 2
Defense: 0
Speed: 1 to 2
Dexterity: 1 to 2
Vitality: 1 to 3
Wisdom: 1 to 3

Average at 20
Hit Points: 385
Magic Points: 290
Attack: 40
Defense: 0
Speed: 43
Dexterity: 40
Vitality: 50
Wisdom: 53

Tips

Even at Level 20 and maxed, this class is extremely fragile. To use this class at its full potential, it takes a lot of mastering and a good healing pet. Despite the low HP, however, the Fairy’s ability could be called one of the most useful yet.

Dust

Dust is basically a shield that absorbs the damage that the Fairy is supposed to receive. If you use Dust, a bunch of particles spring from…somewhere, and move about around the character, blocking projectiles that head for the Fairy for a number of seconds. Too good.

A Fairy using Dust.
So I’m actually going to make a gigantic list that shows you all of the Dust tiers.

Ooo an original new class idea

#3

I want a pretty t1 robe with my base character D:

#4

This is still pretty WIP, what are stat maxes, what concept are you going for with the spell, why another wand class, how do you think the class is balanced, etc.

#5

The classes in RealmEye doesn’t show the stat maxes.

Well, why NOT? There’s only two.

How do you think it’s NOT?

#6

You talk about how the ability is going to possibly be one of the most useful yet, but don’t yet claim how. Furthermore how do you think it would change the dynamic of the game

… yes it does?

There’s only one katana class, why can’t they get some love </3

Instead of answering by being a smartass try explaining your reasoning. I’m just trying to understand why you created this class if any. If you ask me, it just sounds like you put 0 thought into it.

#7

thx, Shatter, for the edit.

#8

Isn’t fairy dust a drug?

#9

I believe you’re thinking of Angel Dust

#10

Add cool down to your fairy dust
Also does this not just bring the Oreo to shame?

#11

Wait so you can’t max it?

uuuh invurnablity for 5seconds?[quote=“GammaGamer, post:1, topic:20349”]
Dust of Spiritual Synergy

#12

Search up fairy dust drug rn. I swear to god lmao.

#13

the devil dust does more gives you more att

#14

Wait. Whoa, hold it. DEVIL DUST for a FAIRY? Who the heck even created- oh…that was me…

#15

Very odd how the stat bonuses differ through tiers. That’s just inconsistent and should probably change. Which also prompts me to tell you to make the UT more unique.

#16
  1. I like the idea.

  2. 385 max HP does seem a tad low though.

  3. Perhaps keep the tiered stat bonuses limited to just defense. Then, make the UT’s stat bonuses focused around damage. That’ll keep things more consistent, while also forcing players to make a choice between tiered and UT dust.

  4. A more fundamental problem: Wand classes have a very long range and they’re supposed to receive minimal damage because they’re farther away from the damage source. Having invulnerability as the primary effect doesn’t seem to be very helpful since the fairy is going to be avoiding damage in the first place, due to her position.

#17

wait
the dust idea is pretty weird
similar to oreo? maybe broken or maybe am wrong

#18

Thing this is oreo is on a melee that is suppose to be close in and taking damage, this is this longest range weapon type, it’s usually not meant to be taking hits.

#19

Finally not the samurai lmao

#20

It’s original I just don’t know how useful this would be, you would need so much a skill and a good movie heal pet, also you would be doing so little damage, while this class may be a challenge to play making it fun for high level players, the priest would probably be a better bet anywhere, especially with a prot.
