not much to say, they just didnt die after dance and killed a lot of people. first time this happened.

I am assuming the server glitched out, most likely due to lag. Stuff like that happens quite frequently, from minor lag spikes in Oryx’s Castle to serious malfunctions that can kill several players.
I am sorry for anyone that experienced a death something like this.
