Once per account quests

If you die with an item that you received from a once per account quest, are you able to obtain it again next year?

What does that mean? If you die with an item you lose it forever

If the quest is refreshed in a following event, you should be able to obtain the item again.

Derp is wondering if a player can have another chance to obtain the item again in a later event. Many of the quests during this event are limited to once per account, so a chance to get the item(s) again next year would be the only chance to get multiple copies.

If the same quest is there next year, then yes, you can obtain whatever item you wanted again.
