What would you change? Seems like it has solid dps with more range than a melee and a lot more
def than ninja, plus a piercing weapon.

The best it can get is 59 with CC and ub def

the best a ninja can get is 55 with nil and ub def

id much rather just use the ninja

more speed and dex, much easier ability to use

ill have to play more of it to make a better decision

First five samurai with over 2k base (at the moment I checked this they were the only 5, so I can guarantee they were the first 5)

Edit: also apparently Assassin ST was added and drops from cdepths, armor was gotten by @GhostlyFam and he posted it in our guild discord

That doesn’t add up- samurai 25 def + CC 30 def + UBDEF 9 DEF = 64 DEF.
Ninja 25 def + kage 2 def + nil 21 def + UBDEF 9 def = 57 def. But those are both pretty ridiculous sets. With tops and pyra we have
Samurai: 53 def
Ninja: 46 def
So 7 def gained in exchange for 15 dps stats (-20 dex and + 5 att) seems pretty fair. Samurai becomes a safer ninja, with less dps in exchange for better survivability.
