Not what I said. At all.

What I meant was: the real distinction to be made is not between foreign dictator and local dictator, it is between dictatorship and freedom.

In both cases, managed to conquer countries one by one and maintain the empire as long as their enemies were divided, but got destroyed when those enemies stopped bickering among themselves and attacked all at once.

I never said I wanted everyone unified under a single global dictatorship. In fact I’m pretty sure I’ve already told you I’m against US-controlled globalism.

What I believe is that US-style identity politics are complete bullshit. Race is an arbitrary and overly simplified generalization. Sexual orientation is part of your private life, not public. Gender is used as a vague catch-all term to the point of having no meaning.

Differences in wealth, social standing, culture, … are way more important and relevant, but you’ll never see the US ever admitting that, not even the ones that call themselves left-wing, because, in their minds, talking about wealth disparities is for communists and there are no cultures on Earth aside from US culture.

The people that took control of those groups don’t want equality, they just want personal power.

And it’s much easier to have personal power when you’re the self-appointed leader of a closed-off group that believes everyone outside the group will never understand them at best and actively wants to kill them at worst, and that also believe being part of the group is all that defines them as individuals.

It’s the same basic psychology that cult leaders use to form their cult and have full control over its members.

Also I’m very willing to talk about wealth disparities and all that, I just don’t know much on the topic and thus can’t give many good solutions to those sort of problems.

Far left socialists are also very willing to talk about that, but their solutions are to be frank, fucking crazy and would lead to what happened with the Soviet Union and recently Venezuela. Plus some of them want whites to pay reparations to people of color (which is just a nice way of saying colored people tbh), which makes no sense and is racist.

Which is not entirely false. Can’t really argue with the historical facts about how former slaves and native Americans were forcefully kept at the bottom of the barrel, or the historical place of women in society.

But that still doesn’t make race-based or gender-based policies any better, in part because you’re not going to solve race and gender conflicts by introducing even more race-based and gender-based disparities and in part because modern capitalism doesn’t really care about race or gender (unless they can be leveraged for more profit, of course).

It’s funny how both of them often use the exact same mechanisms, isn’t it?

It’s not that it’s making uncomfortable, just that sometimes you come across as a bit incoherent and rambling.

I have no problem talking to people who disagree with me, I just have trouble following your train of thought sometimes.

That, on the other hand, does make me uncomfortable. It’s just no fun having a discussion with people who already agree with most of what I say.
