Potential easter egg in moonlight village?

If you go to the left after the boss with an intermediate fishing rod to sage genji, he’ll say this when you have it equipped (and shooting?). Not sure if his second line of dialogue came after I said “undeniably based” or if it just was off a timer, but still good to keep in mind in case he never gives more dialogue.
Does anyone have a fishing rod above intermediate that they could test this on?

After the fishing minigame the pot that spawns has a chance to drop an intermediate fishing rod. I didn’t play during testing, but apparently you need the previous tier of fishing rod to get the next and there are four tiers.
