Question about necrobumps

will I get in trouble if I bump a really old thread that’s just about to close, but hasn’t?

If you do it just to bump or for some stupid reason then yes, especially if you do it more than once.

If you have an actual reason then certainly not.

The 60 day lock is to prevent bumps of completely dead threads, meaning anything not yet past 60 days we consider “alive”. However, if it’s a garbage bump we’ll probably just delete it. If it’s a bump of substance that’s fine.
