Yeah, no it isn’t. The only thing BetterDiscord allows is to be able the see the channel name/perms/description. Seeing the contents is 100% impossible.

I think the guy was using BetterDiscord but he was using something else to view content he wasn’t supposed to. Or I’m just crazy. Better safe than sorry I guess.

Group DMs are still the only option, since people can see who can view the mafia channel, which basically says who mafia is.

the way I had it set up is with two visually identical roles, “???”. all players would be assigned one or the other, but only one version of it would grant access to the maf channel. players wouldn’t be able to distinguish between the two so no one would be sure who had the maf role and who didn’t.

of course, there’s nothing wrong with group pm’s either.
