Solution for kongregate players on flash

#1

SOLUTION! For those that can’t get it to work, you just gotta add (www.) after https:// and remove the part that i marked with double parantheses in the first link below.
https://realmofthemadgod((hrd.appspot)).com/AssembleeGameClient1530201621.swf?
Final thing looks like this:
https://www.realmofthemadgod.com/AssembleeGameClient1530201621.swf?
Np

Here’s my video on how to get the info for the link

It’s a little bit outdated but it still works.

My screen is still stuck on loading though.

U bad :open_mouth:

Absolutely useless advice. Kongregate needs a large amount of additional information which needs to be supplied to ROTMG via the command line. See the detailed guide here:

Ugh… I knew that someone would write that eventually. I know that, everyone else knows that too, it’s so obvious that i just don’t bother writing the whole thing. I just wrote about the part that was changed after the update. The api_path changes sometimes too but everyone with a brain should know that you gotta re-do the link every now and then.
Here’s the whole part, just in case you can’t do this on your own :ok_hand:

https://www.realmofthemadgod.com/AssembleeGameClient1530201621.swf?kongregate_username=xxxxx&kongregate_user_id=xxxxx&kongregate_game_auth_token=xxxxx&kongregate_api_path=xxxxx

Here’s my youtube video on how to the the info for the link.

Even that’s too complicated. I mean all I do is look at the HTML source on Kong, copy the flash vars, and use that after the ‘?’. You need to replace the HTML escaped ampersands with ordinary ones, but that’s it. I save it in a text file as most of the time I only need to update the number – the 1530201621 in this case.

Also I download the .swf. So long that I can’t remember trying it, but doing it like you suggest as a URL did not work for me. Instead the string I use with ‘open location’ in Flash projector looks like this:

/Users/JohnB/Sites/AssembleeGameClient1530201621.swf?kongregate_username=…

Doesn’t work

They changed everyone’s api path or something. You just have to replace your old api path with your new one.

Strangely enough this fixed the language error problem on my half, which suddenly appeared after months of using the adobe flash projector for Kong just fine.

I hadn’t found any solution for the language error for Kong users, but this seems to have fixed it immediately. Really nice; thank you so much!
