Sorc or Priest?

Today I just got a Conducting Wand! :smiley:

So I’m wondering if I should make a Sorcerer or a Priest. Btw, the picture might be small. I don’t know how to fix it though.

Neither. Conducting is pet food.

Make a Sorc if you want a good godlands farmer and a Priest if you really want to play it safe.

Yeah you can base your choice on what you want it for - priest if you want more survivability, sorcerer if you want more offense.

Sorc is underrated. I’d say make one of them.

And not to burst your bubble, but the Conducting isn’t all that great. It used to be the supposed “DPS” wand, but the Wand of the Fallen is so much better for that now.

However, the Wisdom it provides is useful for the Sorc’s wismod application. So keep it, but if you really want to make your Sorc a baller, farm the Mountain Temple for that cool cherry branch wand.

Main point, make a Sorcerer. Priest is boring unless you have a Prot or really want to start trying Nests and Lost Halls. But screw that, make a Sorcerer.

I disagree a little about the Mountain Temple wand, which seems too situational to be a main weapon because of its low range, and Cond isn’t toooo bad, but I’d still pick Recomp over both, if needing to choose only one for a main wand.

But I agree about priest, with neither Puri nor Prot, priest can be quite boring for most of the game’s content once your pet gets above a level that lets you recover from your minor dodging mistakes.

Ooh. Forgot about that. Yeah, it’s better on a Priest. And yes, Recomp can’t be beat for the piercing aspect.
