Apocalyptic Gladius
Apocalyptic%20Gladius
Projectile: Apocalyptic%20Gladius%20Projectile Full Set Projectile:Apocalyptic%20Gladius%20Full%20Set%20Projectile
Description: An astonishly heavy blade of a forbidden brutal origin, anyone killed, be it friend or foe, has their soul siphoned into this sword’s endless flowing crimson energy, only a true Doom Herald is able to control this cursed weapon at will.

Tier: ST
Shots: 1
Damage: 350-450 (average: 375)
Projectile Speed: 7 tiles/second
Lifetime: Endless
Range: 4.25
Effects: Shots hit multiple targets
Shots pass through obstacles
Rate of Fire: 50%
Fame Bonus: 5%
Drops from: The Forgotten King

Endless lifetime? Under normal circumstances it would simply mean that the projectile literally has infinite range, however it isn’t that simple, otherwise i wouldn’t have listed the Range.

In fact, the projectile follows your cursor without going past the 4.25 range, limited to a circle around your character (through it won’t disappear if it reaches the end range),

The weapon only shots the projectile once, and the projectile will reobtain a hitbox depending on your character’s Dexterity against this weapon’s Rate of Fire.

Also the projectile will instantly disappear if you switch out your weapon, if you stop shooting or if it hits a wall.

Hecatomb Visage
Hecatomb%20Visage
Description: A cracked helmet of pure chaos, the Herald has seen many foolish beings sacrificing themselves in order calm his onslaught to save their brethren. They were really foolish indeed.

Tier: ST
MP Cost: 150
On Equip: +5 DEF, +2 ATK, 2+ DEX
Effect(s): On party: inflicts Damaging for 5 seconds
On self: inflicts Bloodlust for 8 seconds (If Apocalyptic Gladius is equipped)
On self: Berserk for 2 seconds. (if Apocalyptic Gladius isn’t equpped).
Range: 3.5 tiles
Cooldown: 7 seconds
Fame Bonus: 5%
Drops from: Royal Guardian (the two large guardians before the Forgotten King’s battle)

A straightforward helmet with a very high MP Cost and low defense, but small boosts to offensive stats, gives Damaging and a new status effect, Bloodlust, only if you are wielding the ST Sword through.

Bloodlust is pseudo-Damaging with a weird heal effect, under Bloodlust, every succesful hit gives you +2 Attack, after 15 hits, the increase is lowered to +1 Attack and a small chance to spawn a orb that heals you for 40-60 HP, the effect stacks even if you are hitting an invulnerable enemy.

It sounds really strong at first, however, given the sword’s rather slow speed, you are fighting a rather speedy or unpredictable foe, you won’t be able to stack the effects, and you would be wasting Mana for Damaging, since the small Berserk duration isn’t available if you have the Apocalytic Gladius equipped.

Calamitous Plate Armor
Calamitous%20Plate%20Armor
Description: An impervious arrmor that grows stronger everytime a civilization is wiped out of the Realm.

Tier: ST
On Equip: +15 DEF, +10 VIT
Effect (Empower): Gain Armored for 5 seconds every 25 enemies slain or 6500 total damage inflicted. (If Gauntlet of Ending Times is equipped).
Cooldown: 90 seconds
Drops from: Commander of the Crusade

A rather simple armor, however, if you have the Gauntlet of Ending Times equipped it will obtain a really strong effect if enough enemies have been killed or enough damage has been inflicted.

Note however, that either the kill count or damage inflicted is only taken into consideration after the Cooldown is over.

Gauntlet of Ending Times
Gauntlet%20of%20Ending%20Times
Description: Everything that starts, has to end. That’s the Herald’s promise.

Tier: ST
On Equip: +5 ATK, +5 DEX, +5 SPD, +5 DEF, -50 HP, -50 MP
Effect (Herald’s Last Stand): Once you are at extremely low health (blinking red), you are healed by 300 HP, given Berserk, Damaging and armor piercing properties to your weapon for 10 seconds. Afterwards, you are Petrified for 3 seconds. (If the Doom Herald set is equipped).
Effect (Last Stand): Once you are at extremely low health (blinking red), you are healed by 200 HP, and given a damaging aura that inflicts 500 damage per second for 6 seconds. Afterwards, you are Petrified for 1.5 seconds. (if the Doom Herald set isn’t equipped).
Cooldown: 240 seconds
Drops from: Phoenix Reborn

A rather interesting item, while rather weak stat-wise, even lowering your HP and MP, what’s interesting is the effect of the item when you are at low health, even more powerful with the entire ST Set equipped, however, you must watch out as to when you’ll be inflicted with Petrified, as it can be deadly if you caught off-guard.

2 Items Bonus: +5 DEF, +15 HP
3 Items Bonus: +5 DEF, +5 DEX, +15 HP, +20 MP
Full Set Bonus: +5 DEF, +5 ATK, +70 HP, 80+ MP
Overall Bonuses: +45 DEF, 12+ ATK, 12+ DEX, +5 SPD, +10 VIT, 50+ HP, 50+ MP

Skin:

First row of Sprites is Idle, Second and Third rows of Sprites is Movement, Fourth and Fifth rows of Sprites are Initial Attack (first shot with the ST Sword) and the Sixth and Seventh rows of Sprites are Attack (while the projectile is active).

Mini Skin:
Doom%20Herald%20Skin%208x8
Description: Don’t laugh at my size you fool, i’m going to end you!.

Looking forward for your thoughts and feedback!

How does this effect work while establishing its dps? Can deca even make it so that it can hit a given minion only once in a set amount of time? Love the idea tho. Maybe too easy to pull off? Less range?

The projectile looks a bit weird, but definitely unique.
And the some of the mini skin sprites look weird because of how the sword is placed.
What happens if the player gets 25 kills and 6500 total damage at the same time?

I added piercing properties to the sword otherwise it wouldn’t make sense to have a controllable sword, as a way to put it, if on the first hit it disappears because it isn’t piercing. Like i said, the projectile gets another hitbox depending on your Dexterity against this 50% RoF, for example, if you were to shoot 5 projectiles every second with a normal weapon, this projectile is tangible 5 times every second.

Well, since i said that with either threshold the Armored effect would trigger, i guess it would stack, through it’s better that you would get 5 seconds even if you hit both requirements at the same time.

Eh, it’s pretty straightforward, it’s animated like most of the Melee skins, with the exception of the attack animation.
