/tell bug?

This happens when I spam /tell on someone (never a nice thing to do but luckily test subject wasn’t on)

say i spam copy paste “/tell asdhfjkassh hi”

he’s not gonna be on, like ever, like cmon that’s more than 10 letters.in a name, but eventually you WILL see it pop up, and it’ll go through. What’s up with that?

Basically, @Four

Let’s say, for example, you spam /tell [insert person who is not online] [insert any message] and keep doing that. Eventually, the message will go through as if they were actually online.

Tried it myself. Strange bug.

Emailed Deca about this glitch a long time ago…

It’s been 4 months and they still haven’t fixed it.
Maybe its a hard issue to solve or maybe Deca doesn’t care ¯\(ツ)/¯

Weird bug. Could mislead people into thinking “Y U Ignore Me”. Does it work only with longer than 8 letters/non-existent players?

Edit: Oh I see you said you PM’d “Swatsec” so I guess < 8 letters gives same bug.

This is just a funny story: When I PM someone and then they aren’t found for a while, at first I say “hi???” and stuff but they’re not on, and then when I say something offensive it goes through…

Simple solution seems to be: do not spam.
