I’ve used fake conf, and though I haven’t used real conf, I feel real conf would function better, especially since you can berserk yourself with tiered orbs.

it also has low attack, and staves have much lower damage against higher def enemies. while both real and fake conf have a cooldown, real conf has an advantage in not only doing higher damage to higher def enemies, but also you can use a tiered orb right before real conf to get both berserk and damaging.
