Threads can be reopened by moving them

#1

One doesnt need to be a mod for it, I’m pretty sure its a bug.
(after moving @system automatically opens them)

Seems to be a feature, not a bug. Just reverse the procedure: move first, close second. Or, if it’s closed, assume it was closed in place on purpose?

#3

If its a feature, then why cant regs open threads directly?

#4

Oh, that is a loophole, isn’t it? I couldn’t tell you then.

#5

It never used to be this way, FWIW. Until about two weeks ago moving a closed thread didn’t reopen it.

#6

another thing, how come I (a regular) can move/rename locked threads?

is this intentional? i can’t do it for all posts, though

#7

Regs have had that power since alltime, whether by design, I can’t say.

#8

shush… why did you have to let everyone know?

WE NEED MORE LOOPHOLES!!

(For anyone browsing, this behaviour was fixed at some point on an update.
Moving a locked thread does not now reopen it.)
